All-Natural Meats

With our easy-to-reach location in the hills of East York, you can plan to swing by as often as you need. Bring your cooler and stock up. We always have frozen meat on hand.  We also offer beef quarters, halves, and whole animals (160, 320, and 640 lbs. approximately)  and whole and half pigs (50 and 100 lbs approx.) This is the most economic way to purchase our meat or you can select by the cut on our order page.

Holiday Turkeys

We provide fresh all natural turkeys for purchase on our farm for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are humanely raised on an all natural vegetarian diet with no antibiotics or hormones. Please use the order form to reserve your turkey. They are available from 10 to 24 pounds. The pick up date is the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving from 3 to 6 pm. We look forward to seeing you then. We also will have honey available from the hives located here on our farm.

Herd Sires & Semen

Our herd sire for 2019 calves was Adroit of Wye 11036 from the famous Wye Angus herd owned by the University of Maryland. We will have three of his sons for sale in 2020, two of them out of pathfinder cows.

Why Do Business With Locust Lane Farm?

We have been in the Registered Black Angus business since 1971. We have been using old Black Angus maternal seedstock know for its ease of production on grass and its superior taste. The cows are strictly on grass, sunshine, organic salt and minerals, and fresh spring water. Doing so they help to sequester carbon in the soil and build up organic matter and regenerate the soil.

Our farm is certified by the Pennsylvania Beef Quality Assurance program that we follow their guidelines when raising and taking care of our cattle. We also are a member of PA Preferred products.

We have carefully selected the best genetic cow herd to produce the best tasting beef possible to our customers. When the beef is ready for harvest we use Smucker's Meat in Mt. Joy, a USDA certified custom meat processor to dry age the beef for two weeks, custom cut, vacuum seal and label the beef. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
